The Old Our Lady Peace Dude

Have you ever wondered about the old guy that has played such a big part in the artwork for Our Lady Peace albums and videos?

His name is Saul Fox and he came to OLP’s attention as a 75 year-old Toronto model back in 1993 when the band was just starting out.

The group liked him so much that they became friends and kept in touch.  He’s become something of a mentor as well as a kind of mascot and a meme that has continued through a couple of decades of Our Lady Peace’s existence.

Saul, for his part, had never heard of OLP before he was hired for that first job nearly 20 years ago.  His said his favourite music was opera and Benny Goodman.
