The One Minute Music Book Club: Lives Behind the Music from The Times of London

Newspapers, magazines, and broadcasters (including me) have huge reserves of pre-written obituaries available for use the moment a big name dies. The Times of London is one of the better newspapers at this sort of thing. Proof is this book called Lives Behind the Music, which is a collection of obits that have appeared in the paper over the decades. Sometimes you can learn more about an artist through their obituary than anywhere else.
