Synchronicity was the biggest thing the Police ever released. That was forty years ago. (Jeezus. I remember playing “Every Breath You Take” on the radio as a current hit song.)

There’s now a super-deluxe 40th anniversary edition that contains some long-lost stuff (55 tracks!) There are six CDs, a hardcover book, and four art prints. Fans can also buy a double CD set (the first two discs in the box), a four LP vinyl set (but with only 42 tracks instead of 84 that come with the box set), and a vinyl picture disc.
