The Pop Hall of Fame Welcomes New Inductees (Yes, the POP Hall of Fame)

Everyone’s heard of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Country Music Hall of Fame and others of its sort. But did you know about the Pop Music Hall of Fame?

Don’t feel bad.  It’s a brand new tourist trap in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvannia.  No, I don’t know where that is, either–but they’ve just inducted their second round of pop superstars.  They are:

  • Bee Gees
  • Tony Bennett
  • Carpenters
  • Chicago
  • Buddy Holly
  • Elton John
  • Carole King
  • Dean Martin
  • Monkees
  • Roy Orbison
  • Patti Page
  • Platters
  • Simon and Garfunkel
  • Supremes
  • This brings the total number of members to about 30.  If you need to read more, go here
