The recording console used by The Beatles for Abbey Road is for sale

On my shelf are several books detailing all the recording sessions of The Beatles. Within their pages are descriptions of the recording consoles used for all those songs at Abbey Road, including the custom-built TG consoles.

One of those, the famous TG1234 Mark 1 (built in-house at EMI in 1968), was used to create the Abbey Road album. That desk–completely restored and refurbished–is going up for sale on October 29. Any guesses how much it’ll go for?
