The Rolling Stones are having fun promoting their upcoming album

The Rolling Stones are really having fun promoting their new album, Hackey Diamonds. It’ll be here tomorrow (apparently) and the lead-up has been interesting. Over the weekend, this showed up, obviously in hopes of creating a social media storm of some sorts. Okay, I’ll bite.

There’s also this URL that (I think) is supposed to remind you of the long load times we used to deal with in 2002–the last time the Rolling Stones released a full album of new material. If you have the patience, you’ll get this.

To the surprise of no one, a lot of fans did not get the joke.

Then there’s this clip with Jimmy Fallon who will be doing something with the band.

Hey, now that we’re past Labour Day, we can use all the fun we can get.
