The Rolling Stones drop a previously-unheard song from 1973

Come September 4, The Rolling Stones will issue a deluxe version of their Goat’s Head Soup album, which will feature ten bonus tracks. That includes outtakes, alternate tracks, and three unheard originals. The first, “Criss Cross,” appeared today.

Another track entitled “Scarlett” features guitar by Jimmy Page. The third unheard track is called “All the Rage,” which may remind fans of “Brown Sugar” in its vibe and style.

The box set edition will include a 15-track live album recorded in Belgium in the fall of 1973. It’s not entirely new, though, having been released as an “official live bootleg” by the Stones in 2012.
