I got a tip on this last week: an exclusive media-heavy Rolling Stones gig in New York City at the Racket Club at 431 West 16th Street. Only 650 people were invited (I tried to score a ticket but failed) to see the band perform the night before the release of their Hackney Diamonds album. Lady Gaga showed up, too, to sing with Mick.
The Stones only played seven songs.
Shattered (from Some Girls, 1978)
Angry (from Hackney Diamonds, 2023)
Whole Wide World (from Hackney Diamonds, 2023)
Tumbling Dice (from Exile On Main Street, 1972)
Bite My Head Off (from Hackney Diamonds, 2023)
Jumpin’ Jack Flash (single 1968)
Sweet Sounds of Heaven (with Lady Gaga) (from Hackney Diamonds, 2023)

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me being a crusty old prick but the idea of paying giant bags of money to see a bunch of 80 year old men jumping around on stage on replaced knees and hips screaming about Satisfaction and Starting me up just seems creepy as hell…

Just as an observation, the dark grey text on a black background for the photo captions is extremely difficult to read.
