The Rush reunion tour just keeps getting bigger. More dates added.

When Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee first announced that they were going out on the road again with drummer Anika Nilles, it was a tentative sort of thing with around a dozen dates, obviously just to test the waters. Would fans accept Rush without Neil, even though this reunion has been given the blessing of the Peart family?

The answer was a resounding “yes,” so more dates were added. And now, even more–17–dates are now on the schedule. And Canadian fans are thrilled that there are more than just a string of four Toronto shows.

This tranche of gigs features Vancouver and Edmonton, which is nice, but fans in Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Montreal are probably annoyed. Patience. With the way things are going, these announcements may not be over yet.
