The Short List for the 2024 Polaris Music Prize is here!
After a near-infinite amount of debate among more than 200 music industry types across the country (full disclosure: I am one), more than 200 Canadian albums have been whittled down to the final ten for the 2024 Polaris Music Prize, A Grand Jury will engage in one more intense round of debate and voting to determine the winner for the year. The author(s) of that album will receive a cash prize of $50,000 at the Gala event in Toronto on September 17.
