A hardcore SLAYER fan made international metal headlines last year when he dove into Lake Ontario in an attempt to reach the backstage area of the Budweiser Stage.

Oshawa man Christopher Laroque had been thrown out of the venue for…something but was determined to get back in to see the show. He unsuccessful, but his moxy and sheer metal-ness was admired by millions..

Fast-forward one year to the 25th anniversary of the venue. Budweiser has come out with a commemorative can which features images of everyone from the Chili Peppers and Sabbath to Van Halen and Drake. But if you look closely, you’ll see Laroque in the water, complete with his Anthrax T-shirt.
