The surviving members of Soundgarden reunited for charity. Watch.

Over the weekend, Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, and Matt Cameron got upstage together, a rarity since the death of Chris Cornell in 2017. The occasion was a benefit for Seattle Children’s Hospital. (There was one other gig where they backed up Brandi Carlisle in 2021.

They appeared under the name “Nudedragons,” which, if you care to unscramble that Jumble, is an anagram for “Soundgarden.”

They ran through six songs: “Hunted Down,” “Outshined,” “Flower,” “Beyond The Wheel,” “Kickstand,” and “Kick Out The Jams,” the MC5 song. Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses joined them on the last two songs.
