The Tea Party have a new whiskey. Unfortunately…

A lot of artists are in the beer/wine/spirits industry. The newest addition to the top shelf behind the bar is from The Tea Party.

Called “The Tea Party Whiskey” (note the use of the “e”), it was distilled with the help of an Australian company called Groglords and is limited to just 1,000 bottles for AUS$149.00. They’re all signed, too. I quote:

“Produced using all Australian grains and barrel aged for three years in Western Australia, this whiskey expression is hand crafted with deliberate intent, offering a clean, well-balanced finish with hints of maple, vanilla, and dark toffee.”

In addition to the small supply, the whiskey is available only to Australian and New Zealand residents. Damn.

The new whiskey is part of the band’s 25th anniversary celebration of their TRIPtych album and tour of Australia, a territory that has always been very, very good to them.

  • I would think that with the Tea Party being Canadian, they would have gone with a Canadian Whiskey.
