The toddler that told off Donald Trump in the Oval Office this week is Grimes’ son.

Earlier this week, Elon Musk proved to the world that he is the de facto president of the US as he took questions from reporters in the Oval Office while Donald Trump just sat there. Once again, Musk brought along one of his sons for some reason. On this occasion, the boy is 4-year-old Lil X, officially known as X Æ A-Xii and unofficially as Elmo’s “human shield.”

During the press conference, Lil X left a booger on the Resolute Desk. But he also told off Donald Trump, comments that were picked up by mics and cameras. Lil X turned to Trump and said, “You’re not the president and you need to go away” and some version of “shut your f**king mouth.”

The kid is four. Those weren’t his own words. He had to have heard them from someone else. Dad maybe? Count on it.

Lil X’s mother is Canadian singer Grimes.

Grimes is locked in a custody battle with Elmo over the children they had together. When told about what happened in the Oval, she replied “He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
