The Tori Amos Musical. It’s About a Girl Who Can Fly, Of Course.

Everyone seems to want to turn their music into musical theatre these days.  Blame it on ABBA and “Mamma Mia,” I guess.

Tori Amos co-wrote a production called The Light Princess,” a fairytale set in the 19th century which tells the tale of a girl who can float in the air.  Very Tori, no?

And what would a Tori story be with themese of grief and sexual awakenings?

The production opened at the National Theatre in London.  The BBC has some coverage on it.
