The Tragically Hip to be inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame

The Tragically Hip have been added to the list of inductees into Canada’s Walk of Fame for 2022. Not only are they being recognized for their music but also for their humanitarian work in the realms of social and environmental justice.

They’ll be joined by:

Barbara Frum, the legendary CBC broadcaster
Director X (Julien Christian Lutz), Canada’s most iconic music video director
Lionel Conacher, Canada’s best athlete from the first part of the 20th century
Deborah Cox, songwriter, performer, producer
Just for Laughs, the comedy organization
Heather Reisman, founder of Chapters/Indigo

More names will be announced before the gala at Beanfield Centre in Toronto on December 3.
