The White House dragged Drake into a cringey MAGA thing

Yesterday (May 15), Drake dropped three albums on a single day: Iceman (we knew it was coming) and two surprise records, Habiti andMaid of Honour. It took only a few hours for Donald Trump and the White House to do something really dumb.

Here’s the official Drake album cover.

I’m not entirely sure what the point is. Yes, it’s obviously pro-ICE, but it’s a very sad attempt at being culturally relevant. The White House has a history of illegally co-opting intellectual property from big musicians for its own use. Just ask Sabrina Carpenter (it used clips of her “JUNO” video to promote ICE) and Olivia Rodrigo (it used “All-American Bitch” in a video.) Drake is can’t be happy, either.
