The world’s greatest Guitar Hero player exposed as a FRAUD

If you were ever a fan of playing Guitar Hero, you might be acquainted with the name “Schmooey.” He has long been regarded as the world’s greatest Guitar Hero player.

This guy was a monster, a legend. He was the kind of player who posted videos of him destroying the game and millions of people would watch. He was THE guitar hero as far as the game was concerned.

Turns out it was all a lie. People who were suspicious of his abilities and claims started deconstructing some of his videos and found some alarming inconsistencies. After a while, it was determined, they were altered to make him look better and faster than he actually was.

This video exposes everything

Once he was caught, Schmooey ‘fessed up and disappeared from the internet.

The saddest thing about all this was that he was actually a good Guitar Hero player–just not as good as he wanted the world to believe.

Don’t you hate it when your heroes fall?
