The World’s Most Valuable Synthesizer

As I write this, the price of an ounce of gold is $1,718.60.  Keep that in mind.

One of the most famous synthesizers in music history was the Minimoog, an instrument first introduced in 1970.  It was small, portable, powerful and, most importantly, cheap (well, relative to other machines of the day).  The Minimoog was the gateway drug to the world of electronic music.

There have been many versions of the Minimoog over the years, but none of them come even close to this one.  Only 30 will be sold.
