There have been developments in the search for the Back to the Future guitar

Marty McFly’s performance at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance in the first Back to the Future film was one of Michael J. Fox’s best moments. Let’s relive that for a second.

Over the last year or so, people have been asking, “Where is that cherry red Gibson ES-345 he played in that scene?” No one seemed to know, so a global search was launched.

That particular guitar is yet to be found, but the ES-345 from Back to the Future Part II has been located, but it’s not the same instrument. That’s a positive because it can be eliminated from the search.

Keep at it.
