There will soon be a posthumous release from Taylor Hawkins

Although he was known as the drummer for the Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, like his boss, had a hard time sitting still. The result was a series of side projects and collaborations that extended back more than a decade: Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, a tour with Coheed and Cambria, The Birds of Satan, Eagles of Death Metal, NHC, and so on.

One of the last things he apparently did was guest appear on Edgar Winter’s latest album, Brother Johnny. The album arrived Friday (April 15). Have a listen to this track which features Taylor both drums and lead vocals. Further details here.
