There’s a disturbing music angle to the July 4th mass shooting in Chicago

With six people dead and more than three dozen injured in a mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois (the affluent suburb that’s the setting of both Risky Business and Ferries Bueller’s Day Off; the street where the parade was held is home to Billy Corgan’s teahouse), people demand to know more about the alleged shooter.

The 22-year-old not only fascinated with murder, massacres, beheadings, and assassinations–all interests covered in his online accounts–he’s also a wannabe rapper called Awake aka Awake the Rapper.

Digging into his online world, investigators have found crudely animated music videos showing a gunman being killed by cops. He also posted some of his songs on Spotify (which seem to have been taken down).

This is dark stuff, too. One video shows him in an empty school classroom in tactical gear. Another song depicts a mass shooting inside a school.

The guy even had an IMDB profile.

People who know the guy say that he used to an electric bike car around blaring metal. His car was easy to spot because it had “pussymobile” written on the back.

Other postings show him wearing a Trump flag as a cape as well as a shot of him at a Trump rally. He was also the admin of a Discord channel that featured all kinds of horrible violent stuff.
