There’s a new photo book on Kurt and Courtney coming next week. It’s called Family Values

The relationship between Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love was complicated. But when their daughter, Frances Bean, was born, they became serious parents. They didn’t always get it right (hello, absent father syndrome), but they tried to be…normal.

There was a photoshoot with Spin magazine, something that was incredibly rare. Only five pictures were ever published; the rest are in this book called Family Values: Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love & Frances Bean.

The book also features unseen photos from a day in the life of Kurt and Courtney, how they tried to escape from crazy fans, and more. Photos were taken by a dude who goes by the name Guzman. The book will be out on June 25.

  • ” Photos were taken by a dude who goes by the name Guzman.” Emmm, actually it’s a husband-and-wife team behind the camera, known collectively as GUZMAN.
