There’s a new U2 documentary that looks back on the Balkan war of the late 90s
It’s called Kiss the Future, a project of American journalist Bill Carter. He dove into what happened in places like Sarajevo as well as U2’s activism during that period. What he found was a people who used culture to fight back.
