There’s a new video game based on the music of Tool

If you’ve seen some of Tool’s music videos, you might have thought “Man, this would make a good premise for a video game,” you’re in luck. A Japanese video game publisher called Cherrymochi has created Exit Veil, an upcoming game inspired by the music, videos, and imagery of Tool.

Described as a “Final Fantasy game inside a Tool music video” with players “exploring twisting dark-psychedelic dreamscapes.” Tarot cards are also involved. (A full discussion of the game can be found here.) Check out the Kickstarter video.
