There’s a wave of new music documentaries on the way. Check out them out.

If you love a good music doc, there are three on the way. On the surface, you may not be interested in these artists, but if the doc tells a good story, you’ll be sucked in. Maybe you should give them a chance. You can never know too much about music.

The WHAM! Documentary

The story of George Michael and Andrew Ridgely will get a theatrical release before showing up on Netflix.

The Cyndy Lauper Documentary

She’s very unusual–and fun. Read more here and here. I’m working on finding a trailer.

The Milli Vanilli Documentary

In hindsight, Rob Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan received appalling treatment from everyone following the revelation that they were lip-syncing everything, especially given how many contemporary artists perform to tracks. Their documentary is a must-watch. Read more here and here. It will stream on Paramount+ in the fall.
