There’s another carefully curated Bowie exhibit selected from over 90,000 items

There have been a couple of David Bowie exhibits, including David Bowie Is…, a fascinating look at the costumes and artifacts from his career that toured museums, including the AGO in Toronto.

Now the V&A museum in London is preparing its David Bowie Centre, which will open to the public on September 13. Curators (including Nile Rodgers and members of The Last Dinner Party–see below) were asked to curate the collection.

The final cut-down will feature private letters, unseen photos, handwritten lyrics, clothing, costumes, uncompleted projects and unrealized plans, and more. When the exhibit opens, admission will be free.
