There’s apparently still more music to come from Gord Downie

Come Friday, Tragically Hip fans will get to hear Away is Mine, the posthumous album from Gord Downie recorded over four days in July 2017. The package includes 10 songs each presented in two forms: one electric and one acoustic. This is an addition to Introduce Yerself, which was the first Gord album to come out after he died.

And that’s it for Gord, right? Apparently not.

According to the Globe and Mail, there’s yet another record in the pipeline. Gord recorded another album’s worth of material about a month before the Away is Mine sessions with help from Dale Morningstar from the band Dinner is Ruined. There’s no release date scheduled, but it will come out.
