There’s Lots Happening the World of Music Streaming Today Beyond Apple Music

While everyone has been focused on the arrival of Apple Music, everyone else hasn’t exactly been standing still.  Here’s what else is going on.

  1. Prince has removed all his music from all streaming services–except Tidal. (Oh, and Soundcloud. And have you heard his new song? WOW.)
  2. What’s this about Facebook holding talks with the labels about “getting into music?”
  3. Over the next four years, the US streaming market will expand to $2.7 billion.
  4. The founder of MP3.com has launched a Beats 1 clone.

More to come, I’m sure.
