These artists are making HOW MUCH on TikTok?

Any artist who ignores the potential revenue streams of TikTok are doing so at their own peril. According to one study I’ve seen, the amount of money that can be earned through people user 30-second clips of their songs is staggering.

  1. “Blinding Lights,” The Weeknd, 1,651,623,888 streams = US$7,217,596
  2. “I Don’t Care,” Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber, 1,191,755,497 streams = US$5,207,971
  3. “Don’t Start Now,” Dua Lipa, 1,190,769,878 streams = US$5,203,664
  4. “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus, 1,082,551,476 streams = US$4,730,750
  5. “The Box,” Roddy Ricch, 1,049,759,043 streams = US$4,587,447

  • Why not, artist integrity has already gone out the window. Might as well make a buck. From what I see it’s mostly disposable music being used to create disposable entertainment on what will eventually be a disposable platform.
