These were the top-selling vinyl records of the 2010s in the UK

Vinyl’s resurrection began with the establishment of Record Store Day in 2008. The venerable old format (est. c.1900) has seen annual sales increases ever since in territories all over the world.

In Britain, The Official Charts Company takes care of what music is purchased, downloaded, and streamed. It has just released the top 100 best-selling vinyl LPs of the last decade. This could come in very handy if you’re looking to build your own vinyl collection.

The top 10 looks like this:

  2. Amy Winehouse, Back to Black
  3. Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon
  4. Various, Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix 1
