This app turns your iPhone into an iPod classic

I have a couple of old iPod Classics lying around the house, uncharged and unused. But every once in a while, I’m tempted to resurrect them for a shot of gadget nostalgia. Now, though, I may not have to.

An iOS developer named Elvin Hu at Cooper Union college in New York City, has created an iPhone app that turns the display into an old-school iPod Classic complete with a click wheel and cover flow.

The app has yet to receive approval in the Apple App Store, but hey, if it ever does become available, I’d give it a whirl.
