This band makes and plays instruments made from discarded consumer electronics.

They’re called Electronicos Fantasticos!, and despite the Spanish-sounding name are actually from Japan. They specialize in repurposing “retired consumer electronics” into musical instruments. Here’s a use for old CRT TVs that I never imagined. See more of their ingenuity here.

They also do a mean cover of New Order’s “Blue Monday.”
