This Coldplay song might cheer up Stephen Colbert’s people

So The Late Show will end next May under very, very stinky circumstances. Stephen Colbert and his staff have been told that the show has been cancelled “due to financial reasons” when we all know that it’s because CBS parent company Paramount wanted a big merger, which Trump was holding hostage because he was butthurt over criticisms from Colbert. What a baby. And what a tragedy that Paramount rolled over.

Colbert hasn’t minced words. On Monday’s show (July 21), he turned to what was labeled his “Eloquence Cam” and said, “F**k you, Trump.”

Damn, I hope that he gets to play out the string until next May. He’s got nothing to lose, so who knows where this might go? (John Stewart, another Paramount employee, has already started.)

Meanwhile, I’ll make this prediction: Netflix, Apple, or some other streamer will pick him up.

Meanwhile, this Coldplay song might help Colbert’s audience.
