Mikkey Dee believes in showmanship and giving audiences something spectacular for their concert dollar. The former Motorhead drummer and current timekeeper for The Scorpions has signed up for a commercial deal for Volvo promoting the company’s new line of electric trucks.

Volvo had this idea of creating “possibly the highest-ever drum solo in the history of heavy metal” at Ullevi Stadium in Dee’s hometown of Gothenburg. This somehow underscores the quiet operation of these trucks. (Via Blabbermouth)
