This DJ is releasing an album on a Nintendo 64 cartridge
If you think releasing new material on cassette is weird, you need to speak with Hamburg-based DJ Remote. His next record, entitled R64 (due March 25) will be released on a Nintendo 64 cartridge. And yes, if you want to play it, you’ll need a functioning console.
Of course R64 will also feature some trippy 3D eye candy while you listen to the tunes. We’re talking of 64 bit here. 🙂

Just think of MTV Party Zone.https://t.co/mhQ0jph66I pic.twitter.com/k1YDL7LTY2
Interesting, given that he’s not compromising with the format. All 15 songs will have to fit into the 8MB capacity of one of these cartridges.
This isn’t the first time DJ Remute has done something like this. In the past, he’s released albums for consoles like Super NES and Game Boy.
