This universe is just too big for us to be completely alone. But how can we let any extraterrestrial life know that we’re up for a chat?

John Shepherd lives in rural Michigan. He’s determined send signals Out There in hopes of striking up some kid of conversation. And forget waiting for them to pick up ancient TV broadcasts or to send a note through the 21-centimetre hydrogen line. Mr. Shepherd believes that a little Kraftwerk will get their attention.
