This fan hit a world record with 43 Metallica tattoos

There are fans and then there are super fans. Tom Engelbrecht , 33, is one of Norway’s biggest Metallica supporters, He’s just been recognized as the person who has more Metallica tattoos than any other person on the planet. Who knew that the Guinness Book of World Records had a category for “most tattoos of the same band.”

Tom has 43 of them and they’re carefully organized.

Ankle to the knee: Metallica history with album covers, DVD covers, letters, newspaper clips, and fragments of lyrics.
His thigh features portraits of everyone who has ever been in the band since 1983.
An arm is decorated with skulls from the band’s LP covers and designs of official t-shirts.
