WTF?

This is officially the most cringey song on the internet

Remember the good old days when the worst song on the internet was “Friday” from Rebecca Black? Those were simpler times. Things have since gotten worse. Much worse.

Fortunately, Tilly Norwood doesn’t exist, so she can’t feel shame. She–it–is the AI-generated actress that’s been scaring the crap out of Hollywood for the last six months. Her–its–creator believes the next logical step is to get Tilly to sing.

Oh, dear.

I realize that this is supposed to be a self-referential parody, but JFC, this is bad. Really bad. She–it–spends about four minutes extolling the virtues of AI and how she–it–is merely misunderstood.

“AI’s not the enemy, it’s the key.” The Suno-generated video begins with a slide assuring people that it took 18 humans to make this abomination.

Uh-huh. And what’s with the dolphins and flamingos?

Make sure you read the comments.

  • “It took only 18 humans to achieve this level of soullessness? Imagine what 19 could have done!”
  • “At least Skynet was honest about trying to erase humanity…”
  • “The best argument I’ve seen yet about how bad AI is.”
  • “This is literally AI propaganda. ‘Don’t be left out, don’t fall behind / Build your own, and you’ll be free.’ Genuinely chilling.”
  • “On many levels, and no disrespect to anyone that put actual effort into this — this is the most offensive thing I’ve seen in a long, long time. And that’s really saying something.”
  • “Even in a world where modern music lacks soul and artistry, and they use voice correction, autotune and synthesized beats instead of genuine musicians playing instruments – despite all of that, this is still worse. Whoever thought this was ‘it’ should be fired.”
  • “Why watch this when you could watch a real human artist and help them make a living?”
  • “RAM costs 500€ because of slop like this.”
