We are firmly into the 2026 sales year. You’ll notice that we’ve started from scratch again. Luminate says Canadian CD and vinyl sales started off this week.

CDs sold in Canada last week: 31,515 (Up 51.0% from last week. A nice recovery.)
Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 44,824 (Down 17.4% from a week ago. Strange. CDs up, vinyl down.)_
CDs sold in Canada this year: 31,515 (Down 3.5% from a year ago)
Vinyl sold in Canada this year: 44,824 (Up 13.6% from this time last year.)

Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 2,746,716,658 (Up 2.4% from this time in 2025)
