This is probably the only version of “All I Want for Christmas is You” I can stand

Now that the Santa Claus parades are wrapping up, we’re full-on into the Christmas season. That means lots and lost of treacly stuff on heavy rotation for the next five weeks, including, of course, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You.”

The song just last week, the song was played 2,196 times on North American radio. That number is only going to skyrocket in the coming weeks.

If you can’t deal with it–or better yet, if you want to rickroll a Mariah diehard–send ’em this cover. Brilliant. Top o’ the charts, this one.
