This is the cover version of the week: Ice-T’s Body Count’s version of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb”

This is not the kind of reinterpretation that comes along very often. Ice-T and his metal band, Body Count, has taken a swing at “Comfortably Numb,” the masterpiece from The Wall by Pink Floyd. It’s pretty radical, but it works. David Gilmour has given it his seal of approval, too, saying that Body Count has “made the song relevant again.” He actually appears on the recording, too.

Take a look/listen.
