This is what the COVID-19 virus SOUNDS like. Someone has turned it into music.

Here’s how this works. The coronavirus that’s causing all this havoc is covered with spikes made up of proteins consisting of amino acids. These spikes hook into healthy cells, turning them into factories for making additional viruses.

Scientists at MIT have created an algorithm that turns the spikey things into music. It’s complicated (details here), but here are the results.
