This is why boomers hate today’s pop music. Discuss.

I once read that “every generation has a biological right to believe that the music of their youth is the best music of all time.” Put another way, all the music we discover and consumer during the sweet spot of the ages of 13 and 23 will resonate with us for the rest of our lives.

Rick Beato’s web series usually delves into how artists got certain sounds for their songs and records. He also is very good at deconstructing arrangements to help us understand how a great song comes together.

This video, however, is different. He tries to answer the question “Why boomers hate pop music.” Discuss.
