This isn’t good: Tool drummer Danny Carey arrested after an assault at the Kansas City airport

If there’s one thing I know about traveling is that you will lose any challenge made of an airport security guard. Tool’s Danny Carey learned that the hard way.

Around 7pm Sunday night (December 12), police at Kansas City International were alerted to an altercation that feature Danny and another guy–and he was allegedly part of the airport’s security team. Carey was arrested. The other guy was not.

It went down like this.

Carey was in the city to play with the Kansas University Basketball Pep Band during a game on Saturday afternoon. He was released on bail after being charged with misdemeanor assault. He faces a fine of up to US$13,900.
