This new drum machine only offers medieval beats.

Teenage Engineering is a pretty quirky audio tech company that offers some really odd contraptions. Among their latest products is the EP-1320, a new drum machine that’s a little different. It’s programmed with all kinds of sounds from the Middle Ages.

What does that mean? Lyres, hurdy gurdys, Gregorian chants, SUPER old-school drum sounds, and samples right out of, well, 1320. Want to soundtrack your own Game of the Thrones-type series? This is a good place to start.
