This petition seeks to rickroll the entire Super Bowl halftime show.

The NFL and its sponsors like to make a big deal about the Super Bowl halftime show. We’re already being hyped on what J.Lo and Shakira will and might deliver in Miami. Me? I’ll be in the bathroom.

However, there could be a surprise for everyone. A new Change.org petition seeks to gain support from at least 100,000 people to get the NFL to bring Rick Astley in to sing “Never Gonna Give You Up” as a surprise.

In other words, the goal is the rickroll the entire NFL halftime show and by extension, the football universe. The entire sport would be pranked.

I like it. Go here to sign up.

  • It’s a funny idea, and would be great to see. but I don’t think J Lo or Shakira have a sense of humour about it at all.

  • BO RING…

I’d go for Joe Walsh and Ringo Star & The Bach Sisters 👯‍♀️ doing backup vocals.
