Cool!

This Taiwanese rock band performed a livestream in an empty stadium

Every band dreams of headlining a stadium gig in front of thousands of screaming fans. Mayday, a band from Taiwan, achieved one of things things.

On May 31, the band played an empty Taipei Municipal Stadium in an event they called Live in the Sky. The gig was dedicated to their fans in Hong Kong, to whom they promised back in 2006 that they would play a concert every May.

Mayday streamed the one-hour concert, which has been seen over 42 million times.
