This track won the AI Song Contest, sort of a Eurovision for algorithms

There’s much talk about teaching machines to write music in very human-like ways. The AI Song Contest featured teams from Europe and Australia trying to write a song that would work in a real-world Eurovision situation. The winners were from Australia who got their machine to write this.

Pleasant–for a machine. But I think that says more about the state of synth pop than the music writing abilities of AI.
