This week’s Sunday lunch from Robert Fripp and Toyah Wilcox takes on Billy Idol

Damn, these videos are popular with people who come to this site. No idea why–other than they’re awfully fun and delivered with plenty of exuberance. Or maybe it’s something about Toyah’s outfits. Either way, maybe we need more of that sort of stuff these days.

Anyway, this week, Robert and Toyah offer up “White Wedding” from Billy Idol.

  • I have seen Fripp perform several times either as part of King Crimson or solo and he is well known for not tolerating silly comments or behaviour by audience members. He is also similarly caustic towards the media when they ask him questions that he thinks are too far off topic. So I suppose it is a little bizarre to see him acting the clown in these videos. We are living in strange times.
